I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers. And I really enjoy action movies and horror films.
I think, when I watch a movie, what really gets me invested in the movie, is how it makes me feel. And nothing evokes emotion from me like horror films, and thrillers, and things like that. Where I'm constantly thinking, I'm trying to work out who's-done-what, and what's really going on with the story.
And horror films, you know, has (have) me worried and tense about what I'm going to see, and the kind of cinematography that's going to happen, whether it's going to be a jump-scare, or whether it's going to be gory, or how it's going to evoke that emotion from me. But it's always surprising. And I think that's the key element of film.
When I watch action films, and they're, you know, sort of like hollywood, Bruce Willis style films, you know where the movie's going to go in advance, there's no surprises around the corner.
And I enjoy watching, like, kung-fu movies for the fight scenes, cinematography, and choreography between the actors.
But nothing gets me going like watching horror films and thrillers where I'm at the edge of my seat, and I just can't wait to see what happens next.
